Ambientato sullo sfondo della Spagna fascista, la pellicola è incentrata sugli anni giovanili di tre artisti, il regista Luis Buñuel, il pittore spagnolo Salvador Dalí e il poeta Federico Garcia Lorca, dal loro incontro all'università fino alla loro affermazione.
